Managing Power with DVIator

Anyone using Dr. Bott DVIator ?  ( http://www.dviator.com/ )
It is DVI to ADC converter with Power Supply.
It comes with the original cube Power Suppy !!, and powers the Monitor and
it´s USB Ports.

The Idea is to take some pressure from the cube´s power supply and the
converter when upgrading graphics
and CPU.

It would be interesting what other people think of this idea, and if someone
made experiences with this product.
Perhaps quality of DVD Playback etc.
