heatsink removal

I did just it. You have to freeze it well so that when you take the card out
of your fridge it looks frosty with a thin layer of ice from the moist air
that was in the ESD packet when you packed it.
Then   quickly   put a sharp knife between the heatsink and the chip and by
firmly turning it, pop off the heatsink.
I tried I once with a card in an old fridge and it wouldn't work as the card
was not cold enough. Try your best and coldest fridge.
