iPod battery life

Does anyone out there have problems with your iPod not holding a charge?

I'm on my 2nd replacement iPod (the first wouldn't hold more than a 2 
hr charge at most, the second wouldn't mount on ANY mac I plugged it 
into, and I plugged it into many, plus it wouldn't hold a charge).

Now this one is barely playing for more than 10 minutes to 1 hour after 
a full charge, and it's driving me nuts...I'm starting to wonder if 
it's because it's being used with a Cube, or if it's just a battery 
issue.

Anyone have any stories/suggestions?
