[CUBE] Monitor Prices

OK-No one noticed but me? How is it economically feasible to drop a 
$3000 monitor to $1999?
And a $300 cut on the 17"? LCD manufacturing technology has made a 
quantum leap forward or is Apple
just trying to move "units" to make some dough? Some one has to be 
loosing their keister (sp?) on this.
Also, from a cynical point of view-does the selling of iLife in its own 
stand-alone packaging mean iTunes,
iPhoto (and all other eyes) will not be included in the next "gotta buy 
it" upgrade (for $129.00)?
