OK Boris, I have read your CubeMod at
http://www.cubeowner.com/overclock.html so I know you know what you're
talking about. 

The screen doesn't go grey but it rather the processor slows down to a
crawl. Or at least it seems like the processor, but maybe it's device
access. 

I'm going to experiment for a few hot days and collect information.
