Not sure if this is correct; but from what I have seen and heard the firewire problem is happening when people have firewire drives hooked up to their computer during the upgrade process. The people that I know that have had problems had their firewire drives (both 800's) hooked to their computer when upgrading. can anyone else confirm this steve
