We had our house burgled last week and had both Cubes (Elaine's and mine)
and 17 TFT displays stolen.

Question: With what do we replace them?

One Cube is in our bedroom and was left running for over two years (Cube and
display set to fall asleep after ten minutes or so). The near total silence
was its most valued asset, that and its ability to spring back to life with
a passing touch on the mouse.

Given that the no fan route is an essential, and that I'd like to upgrade to
Panther, what upgrades are possible/desirable? I believe there is a no fan
chip upgrade about to appear, anyone have experience/views on this, and on
other upgrades eg graphics cards and optical drives etc?

Written on my fallback machine: Mac 6360 (glad I kept it now!)

Thanks for any contirbutions
