Impossible? Hardly. Very simple actually. The files on your iPod are
invisible when you are looking at the iPod in Disk Mode. Make them visible
and you'll see a bunch of folders that contain your music. And numerous
applications already written, both freeware and shareware that will enable
you to do it without needing to know or understand anything about why.
