[Cube] Won't boot - but my fault....

Intending to do the ROM update on a "new" cube, I selected OS9.2.2 in 
the startup preference.  But there is no 9.2.x on my drive, so I get a 
funny error screen at start-up, but no start.  I tried to boot from the 
10.3.x CD, no dice.

Is there a start-up key-hold-down that will give me the choice of 
start-up again?  Or, way other way out of this mess?
