[Cube] DO Powerlogix CPU upgrades run cooler? And how cool is cool?

I'm running a PL 1.5GHz dual, which I've had a few months. It's
showing 44C (110F) on the on-chip thermometer (CPU Director utility).
Output air temp from the top vent is 30.6C (87F). Ambient is about
19C (66F). Mail and Seti at home (BOINC) running all the time. Seti runs
about one work unit per processor constantly, as long as it gets a
new work unit when requested. Also have the nVidia MX2 32MB video
card, which I installed several years ago, running the Apple Studio
CRT display (the one with the transparent body) that I bought new
from Apple in 2000 with the Cube. All working well, and never had
more than minor problems. Cool as a cucumber (well, almost).

On the whole, this system seems as smooth running as my iMac G5 rev C
1.9GHz.
