I've had a good time with the Canon G1 over the past few years and it too can take the IBM microdrive. It should be under $500 now that the G2 and G3 are out. Great travel camera with enough manual controls when needed and not so expensive you spend all your time looking out for it. The battery life is exceptional to boot!
