2400 Memory?

Instead of risking well-intentioned but possibly amaterish advice, I suggest that you consult the websites of RAM specialists, such as Data Memory Systems. A quick search of <http://www.datamem.com> for "PowerBook 2400" will yield specific information and pricing of available modules.
