The best device to have is an HDI-30 adapter, preferrably a SCSI/Dock switchable one (so you can use it for either connecting external SCSI devices or connecting to your desktop via SCSI Disk mode). They come in both DB-25 and Centronix 50 connections, so it's really nice to have both for flexibility of cable attachment. There are both adapters which form a right angle to the book, and those parallel to the plane of the book. The parallel ones can interfere with connecting an external display. Paul
