i have frequently seen the adapters , with the switch, in 30 to db 25 pin, Small gray L shaped thingies. if you were going to use a ZIP drive that would be what you would want. You also could use the db25 - db 25 cable to do SCSI mode connection the the db-25 port on a desktop popwermac. This woudl be a least parts , simple solution. If not planning to connect to a desktop then you can get a cable with hd 30 on one end and 50 or 25 pin on the other. >Yeah. if you get the adapter with a SCSI dock mode switch you can >even use the laptop as an extenral scsi disk on a desktop with it. >Pretty cool >Andrwe > >>Is there such a thing to convert a scsi 30 pin port to a 50 pin? > >---------- >Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! >A listserv for users and fans of Mac subportables. >FAQ at <http://www.themacintoshguy.com/lists/DuoListFAQ.shtml> >Be sure to visit Mac2400! <http://www.sineware.com/mac2400> > >To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <DuoList-off at lists.themacintoshguy.com> >To switch to the DIGEST mode, E-mail to ><DuoList-digest at lists.themacintoshguy.com> >Need help from a real person?
