PB 2400 and MPC-100 Ethernet card

While we're on the subject of Ethernet cards....

I have a MacSense MPC-100 Fast Ethernet PCMCIA card that I
can't get to work consistently with a 2400.  It works sometimes
for a while and then freezes the machine.  I've tried this
with two 2400s with the same results -- one is a stock machine
running MacOS 8.6 and the other a Newer G3 upgrade running
MacOS 9.1.  I have no problems with a Farallon 10 Mbs LAN/Modem
card.

Any suggestions?
