A problem with my duo 230

Maybe someone here has some suggestions.

I took my duo out of mothballs to replace the keyboard. The delete, return
and shift keys had failed so it was useless till I did so.

Well I cracked it open, slid the thing out, replaced it and closed it back
up.

Now it is behaving oddly.

When I start it up, it will make the startup noise, but then bings and
starts up again. It functions fine for a few minutes then shuts itself off.
When the battery is in, it won't always start. When its plugged into my
tangerine ibook's power cord it is perkier than when it's plugged into its
own power cord... If I lean to heavily on the left side (over the battery
port) it shuts down.

Any thoughts or suggestions? I'd like to use it.

Thanks,
Donna
