Is there a way to get/purchase soundjam, full retail? Soundjam MP lacks cd
importing, and that is what I need most. I have tried iTunes 2.0.4, but it
always freezes or shuts down. I just downloaded iTunes 1.1, hopefully that will
work. My pc is a maxed out pb 2400c, running os 9.1.

As far as using a 2400c with 9.1, you should absolutely be able to use
iTunes!

But, as far as not being able to rip Cds, I know exactly what you mean....

I keep a Color Classic II with a "takky" modification (Pmac 55xx mobo w/ a
G3 processor) in my kitchen to keep recipes + "dish-washing" music (DO NOT
laugh!). It works great, but as the screen resolution is not enough to use
iTunes, all I can use on it is Audion, which either has no cd importing
capabilities or I just still am using the demo version(!).

My daughter's Duo 280c, which uses MpegDec, also cannot rip music. So, for
both, I just "rip" the Cd (in MP3 format of course) on another computer, and
transfer them to the computer that cannot rip. Not the most seamless ay to
do things, but it'll "'git 'er done."
