[1394] Are most FW cd-rw drives EIDE on the inside?

I don't believe anybody makes them yet.
Beware of bits and bytes! 1394a is 400Mbits/sec or about 50MBytes/s. My
fastest FW drive can sustain about 35MB/s so I'm not sure where your
7800KB/s figure comes from?
