iMac with DVD

Would someone please verify for me that a flat-panel iMac with a DVD 
player in it can take screenshots of DVDs when using Screen Shot Pro 
from Ambrosia? I need to get one and one of the uses is to take 
screenshots of Japanese DVDs that we sell through our website. Thanks 
in advance.
