Troublesome Sawtooth 2

I have a Sawtooth with a tooth ache.

I had OS X10.2.1
At first my system would slow to a crawl
Seemed like it was looking for something on a firewire, usb, or ethernet bus.
I say that because I would unplug these and replug them and it would speed
up.
Then I updated to 10.2.2 and would see my Firewiredrive sporadically
And my camera hooked up to firewire could not be recognized.

My Machine
 450 mhz Sawtooth

AGP Graphics Card
20" Apple monitor
Keyspan usb to serial adapter
33,000 serial USRobotics modem

Internal drives
80 gig maxtor ata
60 gig maxtor ata
Super drive A04

The following has been removed and are laying on my desk in front of me.

Atto UL2D PCI to SCSI card
18 gig SCSI Drive
PCI grahics card, Old ATI Mach 64
17" Apple monitor
Kensington Turbo Ring Trackball
USB Hub
Eternet Hub

I reinstalled OS X 10.2 on my 80 gig maxtor drive
Installed the driver for the keyspan adapter
And here I am!

I suspect my ATTO card.
Now I will try to add my second monitor. Or maybe I should update to 10.2.1

I would suggest that we all list our setups to see what the common
denominator is.
