Toolbar Settings

I have a G4 running 10.2.2 and for some reason I cannot explain (or just
forgot) some of the folders open up with a generic menu bar that shows the
number of items and and HD space.  Others, like my Applications Folder, open
up showing the Toolbar.

I just discovered (by messing around) the View/Show Toolbar or Hide Toolbar
controls this function.

How do you make a global change?  I have some folders with and some without
toolbars. It is a PIA to change them one at a time.
