[G4] Jaguar - many apps fail to start - unexpected quit

Go ahead and create a new user and see what problems, if any, remain when
logged in as the new user. I call this new user Troubleshoot on my systems.

Wow, thanks, I forgot to mention that.  You're right, other "users" can
start 
iTunes just fine.  And I ran Disk Utility > Repair Permissions.
