FYI:

First one: 2.536 Mbps
Second one: 3.400 Mbps
Operational test-downloading the MacOS X 10.3.2 Update from
<http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=120288>: 36.4 Mbytes took
104 seconds = 2.8 Mbps.

Both are in the proverbial ballpark.
