[G4] Probs in 9.2.2 & Classic

Few things.
If you don't have a disk utility such as DiskWarrior and or Norton, you
might try rebooting into X while holding down the CMD-S keys and running
/sbin/fsck -y
After that you can run Disk utility from within X and try repairing
permissions
The redraw thing with Quark is actually normal. There is an extension out
their called Classic Redraw I think. You can get it from Quarks website. It
will help about 80% of the time with this. Hope this helps, Wayne.
