[G4] freeze/clock problems

Usually it is the clock, but mine did this with a USB conflict in 9.1. I had
to actually unplug the computer to get it to reset and boot right. Changed
to a different hub and the prob went away. Might try zapping the pram and
rebuilding the desktop.
