[G4] recording disk speed

Hi,

I also use an 800 mhz PowerBook. I've been using some
Imation brand CD-RW on my PowerBook and 700 mhz eMac.
Sometimes when I erase the disks on the eMac, the
PowerBook won't recognize the disks, but the eMac and
our IBM pc will. The lasers on the eMac and PowerBook
may have been configured differently, and that could
be the cause for that problem.

I personally prefer Verbatim brand disks, but I
recently  bought some Maxell CD-Rs at Sam's Club, and
of the two or three disks I've burned, I've come
across one my PowerBook wouldn't accept, it just kept
spitting the disk back out!

I usually just buy the highest speed possible.
