The drive just didn't want the master/slave jumper on at all. Seems 
to work fine now, my mouse is another story.

Anyone tried this switchbox?

Some on the OS X list like it and it's about the best price of any 
4-ports that I've seen. I'm guessing I couldn't go into Compusa or 
the like and get something comparable.
