Using eMail to Transfer a PDF file from a Windows computer system to a Mac
OS X computer system

If you transfer a PDF file from a Windows computer system to a Mac OS X
computer system using email, the PDF file attachment may become corrupted. A
scenario where this may occur is when using Outlook Express or Outlook 2000
on a Windows computer system and either Eudora or Entourage on a Mac OS X
computer system. To avoid this problem, configure Outlook Express or Outlook
2000 on the Windows computer system to use uuencoding

Using eMail to Transfer a PDF file from a Mac OS X computer system to a
Windows computer system

If you transfer a PDF file from a Mac OS X computer system using email to a
Windows computer system, two PDF files may be received. A scenario where
this may occur is when using either Eudora or Entourage on a Mac OS X
computer system and Outlook Express on a Windows computer system. The first
PDF attachment received contains a good copy of the PDF. The second PDF
attachment is corrupt and should be ignored.
