[G4] Strange G4 issue solved

Al and Gregory,

Thanks to both of you for teaching ME something new to look for. 
Actually "Console" is an Apple application with a nice GUI.  It is 
found in Utilities.  The icon looks like a CRT with a black screen 
and "WARNING" in yellow pixels written on it.  This is the first time 
that I used it, given your joint hints.
