Can't do it without learning to drive...

See Quick Start (p. 20 -- but my manual is for v5.0, so the pages may 
not match).

See Appendix C - Glossary of Terms (p. 279) "restore - An operation 
which copies files from a backup set to a volume". I don't see anything 
cryptic here.

No dragons in evidence. Retrospect is a powerful and flexible tool, 
with a track record better than most. It's a good investment -- make 
the most of it.
