Hello all, 

I've just gotten a 1.25 mhz MDD tower.  It replaced an
AGP 533 that someone "liberated" a few weeks ago.  I
have 2 questions.  1) Can the Apple Pro speakers
accept an extension speaker cable?  I saw that it is a
2.5mm jack, went to Radio Shack, bought a extension
cable, came home and realized that the speaker cable
had a little metal cirgle around the jack, preventing
it from plugging all the way into the girl end.  Is
the metal circle a necessary thing?  If so, has anyone
seen an extension cable that will work?  2) The smae
people liberated my soundsticks, but forgot the
subwoofer.  Can anyone suggest some good speakers,
with RCA jacks, to work with the sub?
