Pioneer 107 and Yikes

I've actually been planning on picking one of these up. Does anyone know if there would be any issues with it working in a Yikes/400 768 RAM? I am thinking in particular about limits of burn speed, throughput, BUP, etc. I am also planning on buying Dragonburn for the BUP, since the latest incarnations of Toast don't support it. I have already looked at xlr8yourmac.com, and it looks like the only info for the Yikes is with the older 106 drives. I know the mobo on the Yikes is inferior to the Sawtooth, so I am thinking this could limit the burn speed, much the way USB 1.1 limits burning to just over 2x in Mac OS.

TIA,
Lavode
