[G4] Question regarding long term use of Sonnet Encore ST/G4 upgrade

You didn't say what you were doing when the freeze occurs. Are you 
surfing, playing, or working when the situation arises? What 
peripherals do you have connected, what OS, how much RAM, etc. A little 
more information might lead to a more concise and applicable answer.

Are there any NEW software, devices, connections, etc? Sometimes 
attaching a new device can wreak havoc with an operational system. New 
software can be incompatible, new RAM chips can be non-operative, and 
making multiple changes at the same time is usually a leading factor in 
system slowdowns.

Address each potential factor as individual issues to investigate and 
narrow the range of possibilities. Eventually, you will find the 
culprit and remove/repair it to restore your system to proper 
functionality.
