[G4] IP Addresses on Mac Network

I am trying to add a Windoz PC (Windows XP) on to my Mac Network ( G4 
OS X.3.5 and printer). It appears that I need to have  the IP address 
of my printer (LaserWriter Pro 630 ) for the PC to recognize it. The PC 
wants either a name or an IP address. I gave it the name and it ust 
spit it back at me.

I need some of you smart guys to get me going.
