[G4] Sound ? & more!

Hello,

I remember this being discussed before but I lost / or threw away/ the 
mail with it.

Where and how do I add a sound to my alert sounds in TIGER

I want to add "You've got mail" to my wife's G4 iBook but have no idea 
where it goes or even the correct format, wav, mp3, aiff etc.

Help will be greatly appreciated!!
