[G4] Sudden loss of internet access

Tried that, no dice. In fact I disable the airport when plugged in the office.

System Preferences => Network => Location = Automatic; Show = Built-in Ethernet/TCP/IP = Using DHCP. try clicking "Renew DHCP Lease".  It sounds like your PB may have been set for Airport which you'd see in an Internet Cafe, but that you use Ethernet (wired) in the office.
