[G4] Beige G3 OS X Freezing

I also have a beige G3 @266MHz. I bumped the processor to a G4, and can only
get it up to OS X 10.2.7.  My best advice to you would be to max out the ram
(896M, IIRC??? At least go to three 256M chips), and look at how full your
hard drive is...  Keep in mind that any flavor of Unix uses the hard drive
extensively for swap space - so that could affect this.  A large drive is a
good thing.  For this system, it needs to be partitioned (IIRC) so that the
OS is in the first 4GB of the drive.
