Aaron - I don't know about the Samsung 300 gig drives, but I'm using a
bunch of samsung 80 Gig drives - internal drives I've put into extrenal
enclosures - and they've been 100% trouble =free - actually been more
dependable than some of the "big name" drives...for what its worth,
jay

I know I can return it even if I open it, but I'd rather not even open it if it's not a good drive. There is, BTW, no model number on the box, but the UPC is 892489000677, for what it's worth.
