[G4] Re: 20" Cinema Display with G4 450 / ATI Rage Pro 128?

I wanted to thank Jim Robertson and others who responded to my
question about the Apple 20" cinema display and the G4 450. After
talking to numerous people I'm under the impression that the problem
is not only the 16MB of video ram not being enough, but also the fact
that my machine is an AGP x2 vs. x4.My upgrade paths were pretty
limited. After searching for a reasonably priced and sized CRT
(basically unobtainium) I finally ended up going with a Sony 19" LCD
(SDM-HS95P) which so far seems to work fine. I still have yet to
calibrate it, but I like it so far and it works fine off the DVI-D
port on the Rage card. Thanks again everyone.
