[G4] ADAPTEC 2906 SCSI-PCI card.

I would appreciate readership comment about use of the Adaptec 2906
SCSI-PCI card in the G4.
I have a couple of flatbed Microtek scanners(scsi) that I have been
using with a now-failing 6100.
If the above mentioned card would enable their use with the G4-problem
solved !!
On the other hand-if the card will not allow me to use the scsi
scanners-problem solved also-I buy a USB scanner!!
