[G4] Help needed

Hi all.
Hope you can offer any usable advice to this problem.
I have an iBook G4 1.2 GHz (12 inch display) running Tiger. Problem is, the 
display suddenly got these vertical coloured lines and I can't see my 
desktop properly. I tried resetting the pram, but no luck. The machine was 
working fine before this problem. Anyone out there ever encountered this, 
and if so, what was the problem?
