[G4] Power Point Reader

Hello List:
I recently upgraded from a G4/400 to a G4 Dual 1.25 /800 and since  
then I have  not been able to read pps images.
I have downloaded the PowerPoint Reader for OS X
I also have Office 98 installed which has PP. Is this a problem with  
OS 9 and OS X?
I am using OS 10.4.9. All of the other plug-ins that I have  
downloaded  to read various files work.
