Thanks Hal. That was specifically what I was asking - can I use a Mac Mini CD to upgrade a G4 tower to a clean install of OS X... -Rob ----- Original Message ---- From: Hal <kastegir at mac.com> To: A place to discuss Apple's G4 computers. <g4 at listserver.themacintoshguy.com> Sent: Thursday, April 19, 2007 2:22:54 PM Subject: Re: [G4] 450 OSX question Um, yes. I do. I have tried to use a Powerbook G4 install CD on a G4 tower and had it not work. I've also (unsuccessfully) tried to use a Mac Mini CD on a G4 Tower and had it fail. This has been the case on several occasions since I upgraded to OSX back with version 10.1.x. -Hal On Apr 19, 2007, at 11:25 AM, Philip J Robar wrote: > > On Apr 19, 2007, at 8:58 AM, Hal wrote: > >> ...
