[G4] Trial version overrides old

Hello fellow Listers:
I'm still recovering from my Power Supply  failure, on my G4/400.
I bought a Mirrored Door G4 Dual 1.25GHz and trying to get it  
configured.
I loaded my MS Office and on trying to open it, it was pushed aside  
by the "free Trial"
version that came on my original DVD. How do I get rid of the Trial  
version and
save my data from Excel.?
