I'm experimenting burning DVD-R disks on an external firewire drive. I'm having problems with the burning at the moment; the burn process fails. So, what I'd like to know has the DVD actually been burned? Is there a way to tell if the burn process actually started to write on the DVD so I know I can toss the DVD after a failure? Thanks, Mark.
