[G4] Force quit has vanished -- help!

Greetings ( + )!( + )

If nothing else works, open a terminal window and enter "top"
This will cause the display of all process that are active.
Then find the PID for the "mail" application.
Next open another terminal window and type in "kill -9 (mail pid) 
return"

The unix command kill -9 will force the process to die.
