[G4] question

I should think that depends on which model of G4 Mac you wish to put it
into. I should think that if the socket is physically the same, then
it'll be up to the G4's firmware to support the newer CPUs. I imagine
that having up-to-date firmware from Apple would enable it to work, but
I make no guarantee. It'd be an interesting experiment, I suppose.
