[G4] Could the problem be a weak power supply?

Hello Eric,

I went to the local Apple store and the Genius and I  think that it is 
a corrupted partition.  I couldn't load to the second partition, but 
was able to do so to the third partition.  The Genius recommended 
erasing the second partition.
