That should have read "you could use ANY version of OSX. I wouldn't install anything older than 10.3.

Just to clarify: There are OSX versions for the iMac, eMac, etc. that are meant to be used with specific models. The standard OSX, though, works with *all* models as long as they have enough speed and RAM to handle it. I think any G4 Mac (some G3 Macs) will run all version (cats) of 10 if they have enough RAM. One of my Macs might be the same model as yours and it's running 10.4.8.

You should have at least 512Megs of RAM. It would probably run with less -- just not as well.
