I have a SATA card in a G-4 MDD Dual 1.4 and it runs great . The only thing to make sure of is a long enough connection cable.Seagate is the way to go , Stay away from Maxtor, for some reason every drive I ever had that failed was a Maxtor. Best Regards, Frank Sudore fsudore at mac.com 954-253-1933
